Frequently Asked Questions
Event FAQ’s
-
My event photography style is focused on capturing moments as they naturally unfold, in a candid and unobtrusive way. I aim to document the energy, atmosphere, and real interactions at your event, rather than posing people or interrupting conversations for group photos. This allows me to tell the true story of your event with authentic, in-the-moment images.
However, if attendees do request a photo of a group, I am always happy to accommodate.

Headshot FAQ’s
-
My goal in a headshot session is to capture a representation of you that is friendly, approachable, and contemporary, perfectly reflecting the industry you are part of. I specialize in creating a relaxed and comfortable environment during the session, ensuring your personality shines through in the images.
This can be accomplished with a on-site studio headshot or through an in-office environmental portrait.
Please view my corporate headshot photography page to see examples.
-
A traditional headshot focuses on capturing a person's face and shoulders, typically against a plain background, with an emphasis on professionalism. This type of headshot is commonly used for business profiles, LinkedIn, and corporate websites. On the other hand, an environmental portrait captures the subject within a specific setting that provides context about their personality, profession, or interests. This style of portrait often includes elements of the background and surroundings, adding depth and storytelling to the image. While traditional headshots prioritize a clean and straightforward presentation, environmental portraits aim to convey a more comprehensive narrative about the individual.
