I'm thinking of updating my corporate headshot, what are the options?

A corporate headshot is often the first impression of you that potential clients, business associates or employers receive, and can be a small snapshot of your personality and professionalism. There are several different options to choose from when deciding to update your headshot.

The classic option is a studio-lit headshot on a neutral backdrop. There is no need to come into a studio as the setup and shoot is done on-site, in an office or conference room. The background is tailored to your specifications - knock out white so that you may superimpose the image on any background afterwards, a neutral gray or even a color to match your companies branding/style guides.

An indoor portrait can also be taken using the space around you as a backdrop. Whether you are in the space in which you work or a lobby/common area, this option gives you a dynamic, interesting background that has a more “modern lifestyle” look and gives context to what type of business/practice/industry you are in.

You may also choose to go with more of a “natural look” and have your headshot taken outdoors with either studio or natural lighting. These portraits can be created anywhere outside andcan result in a soft, clean, bright, and totally natural image giving the viewer a sense of “location”.

Headshots allow you to express your personality without words, and the option you choose is totally customizable based on what you wish to communicate to others.
